Iran actress Laleh Eskandari joins 'Blade and Cashmere'

ifilm series 'In the Eye of the Storm' star Laleh Eskandari has joined new cinematic project 'Blade and Cashmere'.

The film has taken on Laleh Eskandari while earlier in the casting stage some Iranian stars including Houman Barqnavard, Pejman Bazeghi, Mehran Rajabi and Diba Zahedi had been recruited.

Born in 1975, Eskandari is an Iranian actress who played her debut role in Ahmad-Reza Darwish's 'Born in the Month of Mehr' in 1999.

She has appeared in several TV series, including 'Scarlet Soil' (2002), 'Just Like the Cedar’ (2010), 'The First Choice' (2013) and ‘Secret Government’ (2011-2014).

ifilm viewers, however, remember her appearing in the series 'In the Eye of the Storm' (2008).

The new flick directed by Kioumars Pourahmad is a social drama which takes a closer look at some women issues in the society.

According to a media report, filming for this project will kick off soon.
